Aurora
Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
This is a translation of the Traditional Chinese version, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
1. What these terms cover
By browsing Aurora, creating an account or enrolling in any course, you accept the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.
2. Your account
- Your account is for your own use. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for everything done through your account.
- If you are under 18, please use the platform with a parent or guardian who knows about and agrees to it.
- If you think your account has been misused, tell us immediately by the email or WhatsApp below.
3. Enrolment and payment
- Courses are sold by the term. Once enrolled, you can watch the lessons released within that term.
- Live classes have a limited number of places, allocated in the order payments complete.
- Price, number of lessons, dates and the rewatch window are as stated on each course page.
- You can pay by credit card online, or by FPS or bank transfer (upload your payment proof; access opens once we verify it).
4. Refunds, transfers and rescheduling
Each course page states its own refund window and arrangements; the Our Learning Promise page summarises the general practice. As a rule:
- A refund requested before the course starts is returned less any administration and materials costs already incurred.
- If times clash within the same term, you can move to another class that still has places, at no extra charge.
- If weather or another event beyond our control forces a change of date, we will tell you in advance and arrange a make-up lesson or a recording.
5. Using course content
- Course videos, notes and materials are copyright, and are for the personal study of enrolled students only.
- Do not record, capture, upload, republish or distribute course content in any form, and do not share your account.
- If we find content being misused, we may end that account’s access to its courses without a refund.
6. Availability of the service
We work to keep the platform running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Brief interruptions caused by maintenance, upgrades or a third-party service (video conferencing or a payment provider, for example) are not grounds for a refund; if an interruption stops a lesson going ahead, we will arrange a make-up lesson or a recording.
7. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Aurora is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are published on this page and the "last updated" date above is changed; continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
